Effective date: 18 August 2026
Balance of Souls is a single-player puzzle played entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that gather information about you.
Essentially none. The game keeps your progress — completed trials, Feathers of Ma'at, Ib, revealed Book-of-the-Dead verses, blessings, and your sound and haptics settings — only in local storage on your device. This information never leaves the device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
Everything the game does happens locally. Because there is no server and no network feature, there is nothing to upload and no profile of you to build.
The game contains no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, and no usage analytics. It does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Your saved progress lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Removing the app deletes it. You can also clear everything at any time from the in-game Sanctum with “Reset Progress.”
Balance of Souls is a family-friendly game suitable for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the current policy.
